Sumeet Kapur, CEO, Global Groupware Solutions chaired a session on "Insights" at a Seminar on "Combating Recession : Role of HR" organised by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) at the CII Norther Region Headquarter in Chandigarh, India. Addressing an audience of senior HR professionals, Sumeet stressed on the need to see the current turmoil as an opportunity to innovate and leverage SaaS based technology in HR.

EmployWise™ is being showcased at the IBM Software Universe being held at The Renaissance Convention Center, Mumbai on November 11 and 12. The Software Universe is among the largest technology events in the country. At the Software Universe IBM software group and select partners demonstrate to an large audience of customer CIOs the power of IBM middleware and partner solutions built on this middleware.

Succeeding at SaaS: Computing in the Cloud, book authored by Amy Wohl a leading industry analyst was realesed in New York. In her book Amy Wohl has cited several companies as case studies and Global Groupware Solutions and Smiles ERM (the erstwhile name for EmployWise™) is one of them. September 3, 2008: Global Groupware CEO addresses the IBM BPAC in Hanoi
Sumeet Kapur, CEO, Global Groupware Solutions was invited to speak at the IBM Business Partner Advisory Council meet held at Hanoi, Vietnam between September 2-4, 2008. Sumeet shared his experiences in the SaaS business and spoke about how the SaaS model is a game changing event for the software industry especially in the emerging economies. The IBM BPAC is an advisory body whose membership is restricted by invitation to select IBM business partners.
