Creating Business Units

A business unit is a profit center which focuses on product offering and market segment. It typically have a discrete marketing plan, analysis of competition, and marketing campaign, even though they may be part of a larger business entity.

Organizations may be composed of multiple business units, each of which is responsible for its own profitability.

This option helps you in creating multiple Business units of your organization.

Steps for creating Business Units:

  1.To Add Business Units , click Organization structures in Settings section and select "Business Units"

     Organization Structures > Business units

     

  2. Click Add Business Unit      

    

  3.  Enter the Business unit Name, Code, Business Unit Head and some description about it in the respective fields as shown in the above screen shot 

  4. Click on “Save” and a Business unit with the same name is created and gets displayed as shown in the screen shot  below

You can add multiple Business units by repeating the above mentioned steps.

Edit/Deactivate option:

After a Business unit is created; you can Edit/Deactivate the same by clicking on Edit/Deactivate option as indicated in the screen shot  below:
