How do i apply for travel?

How do i view travel requests applied by me in the organization?

Create Travel Request

An employee can create new travel request using steps below:

1. Under Travel tab click on "Create Travel Request"

2. Travel Request form will get displayed. Fill in all the details described below:

Enter your source & destination in Travel Schedule. All the modes & class come from your applicability criteria.

My Travel Requests

An employee can view all the travel requests created by him /her using steps below:

1. Under Travel tab click on "My Travel Requests"

2. All your travel requests will get displayed with status of the request, approver's name, purpose & date requested

All Travel Requests

An employee can view all the travel requests created by his /her team members using steps below:

1. Under Travel tab click on "All Travel Requests"

2. All the travel requests created by your team members will get displayed with status of the request, requester name, purpose & date requested

Approve Travel Requests

You can approve the travel requests you are responsible for using steps below:

1. Under Travel tab click on "Approve Travel Requests"

 

2. All the travel requests pending your approval will get displayed with name of requester, status of request as 'Pending Approval'. Click on the item you need to take an action.

Below page will get displayed to show you all the travel details and actions that can be taken by you.

Making Travel Bookings

If you are responsible for travel bookings in the organization follow the steps below to make the booking:

1. Under Travel tab click on "Approve Travel Requests"

 

2. All the travel requests pending booking by you will get displayed with name of requester, status of request as 'Approved' or 'Paid'. Click on the item you need to take an action.

  • Status is Approved if travel request is approved by approvers and pending booking by you.
  • Status is Paid if travel request is approved by approvers, advance paid by payer and pending booking by you.

 

Below page will get displayed to show you all the travel details and actions that can be taken by you. Select the status from drop down.

Paying Advances

If you are responsible for paying advances requested by employees before going for travel follow the steps below:

1. Under Travel tab click on "Approve Travel Requests"

 

2. All the travel requests pending advance payments by you will get displayed with name of requester, period of travel, confirmation status(shows whether booking is done or not), status of request as 'Approved'. Click on the item you need to take an action.

  • Status is Approved if travel request is approved by approvers and pending payment by you.

If Confirmation value is 'Yes' it means that booking is done and advance requested can not be reconsider now

If Confirmation value is 'No' it means that request is pending for booking and advance requested can either be reconsiderd or paid

Below page will get displayed to show you all the travel details.Scroll down the page and come to Payment details section, select the payment mode from drop down and take your action.
