Step 1:On the top left of the home screen switch to HR User option from drop down

HR User can perform following actions in Performance Module:

How do i view performance plan of any employee in the organization?

How do i start process of Performance Plan Cycle in organization?

How do i start process of Performance Review Cycle in organization?

How do i manage Employee Performance Plans in organization?

Team Plans

To view performance plan of any employee follow the steps below:

1. Under Performance tab click"Team Plans"

2. Below page will be displayed. You can put filter on search data using provided option as filter by appraisee name, appraiser name, status of plan or stage at which the plan is.

filter is on Appraisee name below:

Manage Plan Cycle

HR User can start performance plan cycle in organization using steps below:

1. Under Performance tab click"Manage Plan Cycle"

2. Below page will be dispalyed:Fill in all the details as per the actions shown and click Create Plan

Once this is done it starts teh process of Goal setting,Goals Acceptance in Perfromance plans.

Manage Review Cycle

HR User can start or close the performance review cycle in organization using steps below:

1. Under Performance tab click"Manage Review Cycle"

2. Below page will be dislayed. Select all the details as per the actions shown and take your action of either starting anew review cycle or closing teh existing one.

Manage Employee Plans 

HR User can manage employees' performance plans by taking below 3 actions using steps below:

1.Under Performance tab click"Manage Employee Plans"

 

2. Below page will be displayed. Select desired action afrom dropdown meaning below:

Close Action: It allows HR User to close any action (say Goal Setting or Review) after certain period of time when plan cycle or review cycle has been started. It can be done for selected employees as well.

Re-open Action: It allows HR User to re-open any closed action  taken either on Goal Setting or Review. It can only be applied on some closed actions.

Allow Review(Multirater action not done): It enables HR User to bypass teh stage of multirater action and allow review without that also.

Performance

The EmployWise Performance Management creates a flexible, transparent employee and manager self service enabled employee performance appraisal system. It enables mapping of role KRAs and KPIs as well as role competencies to ensure goal alignment and cascading goals.  As an automated, employee self service system, it improves performance through frequent reviews and feedback to the employee and gives time to managers to correct performance in time.

Review Plan

In Performance module various actions that can be taken place either by appraisee, appraiser or reviewer are defined as:

How do i do goal setting for performance plan?

How do i take action on goals set by my team member(s)?

How do i take action on goals set by my appraiser?

How do i give my ratings to the performance plan?

Review Plan (Setting Goals)

To set goals in terms of defining KRAs & KPIs follow the steps below:

1. Under Performance tab click "Review Plan"

2. Following page will get displayed with status of plan as Goal setting Due, appraisee name, appraiser name etc. Now there may be two possible cases :

2.1 You are doing goal setting for yourself. In this case your own name will come under Appraisee Name tab

2.2 You are setting goals of your team member(s). In this case there will be line item for each of your team member you need to set goals for.

In any of the above 2 cases click on the item you want to set goals for and follow 3 steps as:

  1. Set Perspective,KRA & KPI
  2. Define weightages for all KPIs
  3. Define target for each KPI as per teh cycle defined (half yearly, quarterly,annually)
Setting Goals
Click Add KPI button and follow the stepwise actions shown in screenshot to select Perspective, KRA and KPI either from library or to add your own (depends upon the setting of plan)

Defining Weightages

Once you click Add it will ask for weightages for each KPI. Click Set "Weightages for all" button

Below page will be displayed. Once you set weightages for all the KPIs click Save&Exit button shown below:

Defining Targets

Once weightages are set, set target for each KPI as follows:

Click on edit button ainst each KPI and define target(it is defined for each half in below screenshot since review cycle is Half Yearly)

Click Save & Exit after setting target.

Syatem will now display all teh steps processed as follws:

It includes goals, weightages and target set fro each KPI. click Confirm button.

Following Popup will be displayed.Clic Yes to save the goals.

Review Plan (Accept Goals)

To accept the goals in performance follow teh steps below:

1. Under Performance tab click "Review Plan"

2. Following page will get displayed with status of plan as Goals Submitted by appraisee/appraiser, appraisee name, appraiser name etc.

Click on the item you want to take an action. Below page willll be displayed.Whether you accept or do not accept teh goals popup will be displayed.

Review Plan (Submit Rating)

Once the goal setting process gets completed and HR User starts the review cycle, rating can be given by any of the 3 actors(based upon teh plan settings): appraisee, appraiser or reviewer using steps below:

1. Under Performance tab click "Review Plan"

2. All the line items pending rating will be displayed with status of the plan as "Review Due". Now there may occur 2 cases:

2.1 You are doing self rating. In this case your own name will come under Appraisee Name tab

2.2 You are here to give rating for your team member(s). In this case there will be line item for each of your team member you need to set goals for.

In any of the above 2 cases click on the item you want to give rating for and follow 3 steps as:

Switch to Competencies tab on the top of page (text may differ) and give your rating for each competency. Click on Submit

Switch to Goals tab now and give rating for each KPI and click Submit

Progress tracker can also be filled in by clicking on the particular period and submitting rating using below screenshot

Similarly any actor can submit his/her rating either for himself or any of teh team members using above steps.

 

 

Team Plans

You can check the performance plan of any of your subordinates as well as the employees coming in your reporting hierarchyr. It includes stage at which the plan is, ratings given to your team member(s) etc.

Team Plans

To check your team's performance plans follow the steps below:

1. Under Performance tab click "Team Plans"

2. All your team members' plans will be displayed with the stage at which the plan is and the status of plan.

You can put filters on search results using various options like Appraisee Name, Status, Stage etc.

Team Ratings

When all the line items for all the team members get dispalyed click on the item you want to see the rating. Below page will be displayed.

It shows all the comments given by either of teh actors, ratings given etc.

My Plans

How do i check my performance plan status in EmployWise?

How do i check my ratings in EmployWise?

My Plans

To check your performance plan status follow the steps below:

1. Under Performance tab click "My Plans"

2. All your current & past year plans will get displayed.You can check status of any plan here.

Example: Status may be "Goals Submitted by Appraisee" or "Review Self Rated" or" Review Appraiser Rated" depending upon the stage teh plan is.

My Ratings

An employee can view his/her ratings using steps below:

1. Under Performance tab click "My Plans"

2. All your plans will get displayed.Click on the item you want to check ratings for. Note that plan should be in review stage:
