Attendance methodology is controlled with these allowed modes.

 

Allowed to Mark In from Anywhere ;

 

- Work Timings are not defined for the employee.

- Attendance Methodology is not defined for the employees location and Grade.

- If Mark Out options is not coming, employee might have marked out earlier or applied Past Attendance Request.

 

Allowed to Mark In from Own Company Location/ Any Company Location

 

- Employee is logged in through an IP which is not registered with the system.

- Work Timings are not defined for the employee.

- Attendance Methodology is not defined for the employee;s location and Grade.

- If Mark Out options is not coming, employee might have marked out earlier or applied Past Attendance Request.

This situation can exist with the following possibilities:-

- Work timings are not defined for the employee. Please define work timings in such a case.

- Access code is not updated or incorrect access code is mapped in the work details of the employee. Update same in the work details

- Attendance Methodology is not defined for the employeeÔÇÖs Grade and Location.

- Attendance punches are not coming in EmployWise server from punch database.

This message indicates, the employee is trying to apply a leave request with a Start/ End date as a week off. Refer to My Calendar to check the off days

This message indicates that, employee is not eligible to get the comp off for the desired date. It can appear in the following situation:-

 

Employee is requesting for Comp Off credit for a day which is not weekly off/Holiday or Minimum extra hours to get comp off credit has not been completed yet. Please refer to My Calendar to check the hours worked.

This message indicates that you already have a past attendance request for this date. All you need to do is reapply the existing past attendance with the desired changes. Please follow these simple steps: 1. Go to My Past attendance. 2. Search for the Date Applied. 3. Click on the record and Reapply as desired.

This message indicates that you already have a leave request which as per your companyÔÇÖs policy cannot be clubbed with the existing leave application. Lets take a case where CL(Casual Leave) cannot be clubbed with SL(Sick Leave), so above error will come in these given situations:-

 

- Employee is on CL on Friday, followed by Week Offs (Saturday, Sunday), now if employee is applying SL on Monday, then its a case of clubbing.

 

- Employee is on CL on Monday and trying to apply for SL on Tuesday,  then its a case of clubbing.

 

- Employee is on CL on Monday and now trying to apply CL for Tuesday as well, then its a case of clubbing. Employee should reapply the Monday CL extending it till Tuesday

You can extract the Balances as on Date report for a particular leave type for all employees by going to 'Balances as on date report' under Leave module. The leave type can be selected from the leave type drop-down and the time period can be selected as desired by you. The report can now be generated in excel file format.

In case holidays and week offs are not reflecting in your calendar, the reason for it could be that roster has not been created for you for your applicable shift. Please ask your HR to create roster for your applicable shift and for the dates/months for which your calendar is not reflecting any holidays/week offs. Once the roster is created, your calendar shall reflect the holidays and week offs perfectly.

This could be a case of applicability definition, wherein all or some of your profile details have not been selected in the applicability criteria of the particular leave that you are not able to view and avail. The EmployWise settings manager for your organization can open the settings of this leave type and add your Company/ Business Unit/ Function/ Location/ Role/ Grade/ Employee Type etc., in the applicability criteria and save the changes. 

Post this, relevant balance needs to be updated/ credited to your account by your HR manager, post which you shall be able to view this leave at ease.
