Sumeet Kapur, Founder & CEO

Sumeet is a serial entrepreneur with a deep understanding of relationship management in business having worked in both Customer and Employee Relationship Management fields. He is among the early ones to understand the power of SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) as an enabler for taking automation to millions of small and medium businesses across the world. 

Sumeet has nearly 30 years experience in the IT industry and started his career with Tata Unisys followed by a stint at Wipro Systems in its pioneering days as a product software company. In 1990 he started his entrepreneurial journey by co-founding, Chipsoft Technology and helped build it into one of the most respected multi-vendor IT support services company. In 1999 Sumeet co-founded a software company that built first a CRM Product and then EmployWise. Sumeet graduated from the University of Delhi and earned an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur in India.

Aashish Jindal, Co-founder & COO

Aashish heads the product design, development as well as the Customer Success teams for EmployWise.

He has over 23 years experience in the IT industry and started his career with HCL Hewlett-Packard right after his completing engineering studies, He took a break from work, after which he worked with Ramco Systems helping sell their ERP system before joining the Global Groupware team in 2001.

Aashish earned a B.E. from Delhi College of Engineering and an MBA from IIM, Lucknow

Arun Seth, Board Advisor

Arun holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and a master’s in business administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata. Arun was associated with Alcatel-Lucent India as a non-executive chairman from May, 2011 until May 2014. He has worked for the BT Group in India in a variety of positions for over 17 years, retiring in July 2012.

Currently, Arun is also on the board of Jubilant Foodworks Limited, Cadista Holdings Inc., Centum Learning Limited, Usha Breco Limited and Samtel Avionics Limited. He is an active member on the boards of various non-governmental organisations such as HelpAge India where he chairs the resource committee, 'Katha', 'SPIC-MACAY' and 'India Sponsor Foundation'. He is also a trustee of the Nasscom Foundation, which drives corporate social responsibility initiatives for the IT industry.

Samik Roy, Director

Samik heads Microsoft Modern Workplace, which includes the productivity platforms of Microsoft Office, Windows, Enterprise Mobility and Security. He assumed this role in July 2018 and leads strategy for the entire suite of Microsoft Modern Workplace products in India. Prior to this, Samik was Country head of Microsoft Dynamics. He designed and executed the go-to-market strategy for Microsoft Dynamics across market segments, industry verticals, channel partner ecosystem and catapulted the business to great levels of success. Prior to Microsoft, Samik worked with Oracle for 11 years, serving over the years as the Head of CRM business, Head of Banking & Financial applications business and Head of the Mid-market applications business.

As a member of the Board, Samik lends his years of experience and advises EmployWise™ on best practices around Marketing, Sales and Channels strategy. He is actively engaged to help the company build the product brand, clock aggressive growth rates and achieve its mission of becoming a leading provider of people management software.

   

K. Gnyandeep, Director

Gnyandeep is a post graduate with an MBA and B.Com (H). He has been a successful entrepreneur with international exposure and over 33 years’ experience.

He started on his entrepreneurial journey in 1991 by establishing two international trading companies in Hong Kong. The two companies successfully exported various Chinese manufactured products to several countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. He sold off the two companies in 2002 after which he moved back to Delhi, India to pursue business opportunities in India. In 2005, Abir Infrastructure Pvt Ltd. was incorporated, where he was one of the promoters. Abir is a leading technology, engineering and construction company in India that has executed very significant hydro electrical and thermal projects in the country. It has built the largest hydropower projects in India, including Teesta Hydro Power generating 1,200 MW of electricity. Gnyandeep served as the Managing Director of the company led the company to achieve several engineering and construction milestones.
